There will be a special Mass for the repose of the soul of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Cathedral. This gives everyone a chance to pray together for our Church and in gratitude for Pope Francis' life and service.
Registration for 2025-2026 Religious Education Formation classes will be held on the following Wednesdays - February 26, March 26 and April 23 - from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the OLV Annex. If you are unable to make one of those dates, the Religious Education Office is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (closed for lunch Noon-1:00 p.m.) unless otherwise stated in the weekly newsletter and church bulletin. All Night Adoration is held on the Thursday evening before each month's First Friday. Adoration will be held in the Cathedral beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, continue through the night and end right before the First Friday 6:00 a.m. Mass. Please consider spending some prayerful and quiet time before the Blessed Sacrament during these special times.
First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 6:30 a.m. and ends with Benediction prior to the 5:30 p.m. Mass every First Friday. Sign-up sheets at this time are available in the Cathedral. Please consider signing up for Eucharistic Adoration. All empty time slots need to be filled prior to opening Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Otherwise, we will have to alter the Adoration hours.

They will have $12 plates-to-go (6 tacos and 6 tamales) for sale along with bagged treats-to-go for $4.00!
Deacon Matthew and Lupe Schaefer lead monthly Baptism classes on the 1st Sunday of the month from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. in the Cathedral Center (St. Raphael Meeting Room). Registered parishioners who are parents of a child to be baptizzed at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory should bring their child's birth certificate to the class. Parents and sponsors of children to be baptized at another Catholic Church will receive a completion certificate at the end of the class to present at the church of Baptism. The Baptism class is for adults only. If there are any questions, please all the Parish Office (575-4741).
Children's Liturgy of the Word for 4-year olds - 1st graders is held during the 11:30 a.m. Mass on several Sundays each month (except June, July and August). Children gather before the 1st Reading and walk together to a nearby classroom to listen to the readings and the Gospel in a form that they can easily understand and also do a fun activity that goes along with what they just heard before returning to their parents at Mass. A lead "teacher" and 2 helpers are in the classroom with the children. Parents should take their child to the restrooms before Mass so that the limited time in the classroom will be focused on the readings.
