A Mini-Mission and Adoration throughout the night is held on the Thursday evening before each month's First Friday. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a short reflection given by Deacon Matthew Schaefer, worship music and time for private and public adoration. All night Adoration begins at 8:00 p.m. and continues through the night ending right before the First Friday 6:00 a.m. Mass. Please consider spending some prayerful and quiet time before the Blessed Sacrament during these special times.

First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins 6:30 p.m. and ends prior to the 5:30 p.m. Mass every First Friday. Sign-up sheets at this time are available in the Cathedral. Please consider signing up for Eucharistic Adoration. All empty time slots need to be filled prior to opening Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Otherwise, we will have to alter the Adoration hours.

Confessions are heard on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:00 - 5:15 p.m.

Deacon Matthew and Lupe Schaefer lead monthly Baptism classes on the 1st Sunday of the month from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. in the Cathedral Center (St. Raphael Meeting Room). Registered parishioners who are parents of a child to be baptizzed at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory should bring their child's birth certificate to the class. Parents and sponsors of children to be baptized at another Catholic Church will receive a completion certificate at the end of the class to present at the church of Baptism. The Baptism class is for adults only. If there are any questions, please all the Parish Office (575-4741).

Children's Liturgy of the Word for 4-year olds - 1st graders is held during the 11:30 a.m. Mass on several Sundays each month (except June, July and August). Children gather before the 1st Reading and walk together to a nearby classroom to listen to the readings and the Gospel in a form that they can easily understand and also do a fun activity that goes along with what they just heard before returning to their parents at Mass. A lead "teacher" and 2 helpers are in the classroom with the children. Parents should take their child to the restrooms before Mass so that the limited time in the classroom will be focused on the readings. Join us for GROUND ZERO - the Cathedral's exciting and fun youth event made just for high schoolers. The group meets on the first and third Sundays of the month with Mass at 6:00 p.m. followed by food, faith and fun in the Cathedral Center till 8:30 p.m. Spread the word and bring a friend! RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is for someone not baptized or baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition, who is curious about what it means to become Catholic. It can also be for someone already Catholic but has not yet received the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation. This program is a place to ask questions and seek understanding about life in the Catholic Church. The group meets on Monday evenings throughout the year, culminating at the Holy Saturday Easter Vigil Mass. The Legion of Mary meets Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Center (St. Dorothy Meeting Room). This parish ministry group consists of active and praying members. Active members take communion to the homebound and perform other spiritual works. The praying members who are unable to attend meetings provide spiritual help by praying for the Legionnaires and their mission. Mothers of Grace is a group of moms that gather to share experiences and ideas along with supporting each other in raising their children and keeping their families strong through God's grace. The moms meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Victory Annex. The January 7 gathering will be a special fun "Mothers Night Out Christmas Celebration". The Knights of Columbus Council #1329 will lead the Patriotic Rosary on the 2nd Wednesday of the month prior to the Wednesday 5:30 p.m. Mass. Join us in praying for our country and her leaders.

God desires to reveal who He is through a greater understanding of who we are. This season will not only unpack the wealth of celebration of what St. John Paul II called "The Feminine Genius" but will also give real advice on how to combat the mental, emotional and spiritual challenges we, as women, face every day. The program consists of 10 sessions on Thursday evenings (January 23 - April 10 except for Feb. 13) from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Center (St. Gabriel Hall). Each of these evenings will have a different speaker addressing that evening's program.
